The Shorty Awards

shorty_logo_150x150 The Shorty Awards are the Oscars of social media. All of the 2013 finalists are mostly big brands with big budgets -- but Kicker is there alongside them. A post by one of our young journalists, college student Susannah Griffee, beat out Disney and Bleacher Report to be named a finalist in the Best Listicle category under Social Content, alongside Comedy Central and Starz. To us, it's proof that good content rises -- and that listicles aren't just for cats and pop culture.
