‘What’s Aleppo?’ asks guy who wants to be president
Gary Johnson is the former governor of New Mexico and is the Libertarian Party's candidate for president of the United States. 7% of voters now say they'll vote for him in November.
And yet ... he just showed his ignorance of one of the most pressing problems on the planet, the situation in Syria.

Yes, that is a presidential contender asking,
"What is Aleppo?"
Aleppo, Syria, is one of the main battlegrounds in the bloody civil war there. Some incredibly horrifying things have gone on there. If you want to be commander in chief, you really need to be following Aleppo closely.

Don’t try to minimize Gary Johnson’s Aleppo ignorance. Syria is only the biggest foreign policy challenge the President has right now.

Twitter: Gary Johnson doesn't know what Aleppo is!
Voter: I don't use Twitter, don't know who Gary Johnson is, & don't know what Aleppo is.

There's really no excuse for blanking on Aleppo, Gary Johnson.
