There was a very sad school shooting in Alpine, Texas today
Alpine, Texas, was home to a sad school shooting today: a high school freshman girl took her own life with a gun. She had just moved to the small town in West Texas about 6 months ago.
Another student was hurt too, and the whole school was on lockdown for awhile until it was clear that there was no further threat.
Little Alpine had an incredibly tense and difficult day, as there was also a bomb threat at a local university.
Got to talk to my best friend today. So glad she is alive & safe from the shooting at Sul Ross State University ?? pic.twitter.com/tuM2V1VNBc
