The next iPhone won’t have a headphone jack. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat.
It’s finally happened. Apple is doing away with the headphone jack.
I'm going to buy an Iphone 7 and drill and headphone jack into it just to be different

People are kinda freaking out. Including me. I am freaking out. I use the headphone jack for external speakers, my car stereo, and, uh, headphones, and I have never trusted Bluetooth for anything. Doesn't Bluetooth always seem to be dropping out?
Anyway, Apple is offering up new wireless earbuds, called AirPods, that cost about $160.

Can't wait to lose my first iPhone wireless earbuds in the storm drain outside the Apple store

Before you start joining me in the freakout, take note that wireless was always on its way in. This is the first step to the next thing, which turns out to be kind of pricey but, we hope, better in the end.
Or you can just hold onto that cracked iPhone 5S for the rest of your life, like me. :/
