Gretchen Carlson is awarded $20 million in the Fox News sexual harassment case
Gretchen Carlson, who this summer accused Fox News CEO Roger Ailes of sexually harassing her, has been awarded $20 million in a settlement with the network.

Carlson’s accusations opened the doors for dozens of other similar accusations from women at Fox, ousting Ailes pretty quickly. Others left, too: Right after Carlson’s settlement was announced, another well-known host, Greta Von Susteren, said she was leaving immediately, too.
What’s going to happen next with other big names there — Megyn Kelly, Bill O’Reilly — is unclear. Their contracts expire next year.
