The government just bailed out the cheese industry

The government is buying $20 million of ... cheese.

Apparently Americans just don't eat enough cheese -- there's a surplus of 11 million pounds. And now the US Department of Agriculture is buying it.

Why? The cheese will go to food banks and families in need, and the money will help dairy producers.

Which not everybody is thrilled about, BTW:
