Miss Teen USA will keep her crown, despite all the times she used the N-word

Karlie Hay was crowned Miss Teen USA on Saturday, but old offensive tweets have resurfaced, showing that the beauty queen used racial slurs like the N-word.

Miss Teen USA, a franchise within the Miss Universe pageant, came to her defense: "We as an organization are committed to supporting her continued growth," and defended her keeping her crown.

Hay apologized for the old tweets, saying she was going through "personal struggles" at the time and didn't know that kind of language was problematic.

But many aren't accepting this apology from her.
