Pope Francis made 12 Syrian refugees very, very happy

Pope Francis is taking the refugee crisis into his own hands. He took three Syrian refugee families--a total of 12 people, including six children--to the Vatican from the Greek island of Lesbos.

In a video on his Instagram, the Pope greeted the families both before they left and when they arrived at the Vatican. "It's a small gesture, but one which we all need to offer to give a helping hand to those in need!," reads the video caption in several languages.

Here's the video:

It's a small gesture, but one which we all need to offer to give a helping hand to those in need!
