This crazy smart NY teen just got accepted to every single Ivy League school
Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna, the class valedictorian of her high school, just found out she was accepted into all 12 schools she applied to.
Those 12 schools just happen to include every single Ivy League college and university, as well as MIT, Johns Hopkins, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and NYU.

Uwamanzu-Nna has a GPA of 101.64(!), and she'll graduate having finished 13 Advanced Placement courses.
How did she do it?
She says her insanely awesome achievements came from persistence and good old-fashioned hard work:
"My parents have always taught me the value of hard work, and I am very thankful for that."
She also humbly recognized her responsibly as a role model to young(er) women:
"I am humbled by all of the college acceptance letters that I recently received. I am reminded that I have a responsibility to be a role model for others and use my experiences to encourage and inspire others, especially young women."
Right now Uwamanzu-Nna is undecided on which school to choose, but she definitely wants to pursue some type of science-related major. Recently, she was picked as a finalist in the famous Intel Science Talent Search.

What is happening at Elmont HS?
Oh, and she is the second student from Elmont Memorial High School to gain acceptance to all eight Ivy League schools. Just last year, Harold Ekeh was also accepted to the Ivies and a few others. There's something in the water at Elmont, yeah?
Uwamanzu-Nna has until May 1 to make a decision.
