Video of the Day

This old video might show Bernie Sanders getting arrested protesting segregation

This old video footage just surfaced, and shows a protester--who looks quite a bit like Bernie Sanders--getting arrested. The video is from a 1963 anti-segregation demonstration in Chicago. Hmmmm.

While Sanders' people haven't confirmed that it is 100% him, it is very likely, considering he was a student and organizer at the University of Chicago during that time.

Some are saying yeah, it looks a lot like him, but let's not jump to conclusions.

Interestingly, the video surfaced shortly after civil rights icon John Lewis downplayed Sanders' involvement in the movement and endorsed Hillary Clinton instead. If the video truly is him, this conversation is bound to get interesting, especially since Sanders and Clinton are both trying to win over black voters.
